Milene Mary George

Meet Milene, a dedicated mental health advocate with a strong interest in promoting mental health education and increasing access to mental fitness for individuals of all ages. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Milene possesses a unique blend of scientific knowledge and healthcare experience.Milene is a volunteer with the National Association of Intercollegiate Gymnastics Clubs (NAIGC) and has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by athletes of all ages and the importance of supporting their mental health and well-being. Currently interning as a Clinical Coordinator with a counselor, she is gaining valuable experience in the field of psychology.From her experience working in a variety of clinical settings, Milene understands the challenges faced by those struggling with physical and mental health concerns and hence is committed to making a positive impact on the wider community. She is thrilled to be a part of SportsPsychMD.
